Interview @ Alia National School
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
As Bahraini the education sector is going through a very crucial phase of changes, our school recognizes the need to lead in these times. Changes needed to come in important areas such as teaching and the skills taught in schools. Recognizing this need to change, Alia National School prepared ahead to prepare their students for changes to come in the world as well.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
The education industry is extremely gruelling and with the rapid changes happening constantly, it is very easy to burn out. I would advise to relax and take time off. This helps in coming back to work with newfound motivation.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
The colleagues in the teaching profession help each other immensely. They give each other the motivation to continue with the good work and to keep going.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Alia National School has a very important role to play in Bahraini society as it is responsible for the next generation’s leaders. We work extremely hard to make sure to transfer our knowledge through education to the youth so that they can contribute to society positively.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
“Keep Learning.” It is learning that enables a person to reach their full potential.
